How to register a company?

Consider the following when you register a Sdn Bhd company in Malaysia:

  • Select a name of the Company
  • Type of business activities
  • Must have a registered office in Malaysia
  • A minimum of 1 director ( Requirement: age: >18), resides in Malaysia, not convicted within the pass 5 years
  • A minimum of 1 shareholder
  • Appoint a company secretary
  • The minimum amount of share capital is RM1

What is a company secretary?

    A company secretary is an officer of a company who is responsible to ensure the company comply with statutory and regulatory requirements.

    Every company require to appointment a minimum of one Company Secretary within thirty days from the date of incorporation of a Company
How to change company secretarial service provider? 

Step 1 : Company to notify the existing Company Secretary on the termination of their service via Letter of Termination.
Step 2 : Provide your existing Company Secretary's contact details (phone number and email address).
Step 3 : Notify your existing Company Secretary, settle all outstanding invoices.
Step 4 : Existing Company Secretary to provide the relevant statutory forms to the new Company Secretary.
Step 5 : The new Company Secretary will prepare all relevant documents to get in touch with your existing company secretary.
Step 6 : The new Company Secretary will then submit the documents to Companies Commission of Malaysia
Step 7 : To collect the statutory documents and all records / files from your existing Company Secretary.
