Message from our Chief Executive Officer / Director

We are now embracing our seventh year, and much has been accomplished, but the journey is just beginning, and we face new challenges every day. Starting in 2008, the global credit crisis and resulting market turmoil took a toil on every sector of the economy, and every industry and Company. It made all of us take a long, intense look at how we manage our businesses—and what improvements are required to chart a successful course in the near and far future. An intense focus on operational excellence targets improvements in every aspect of our business. It is also pivotal to observe that Uptrend2u™ is a Company with a longstanding commitment to excellence and social responsibility. By joining forces, we see a window to strengthen and build on those shared values.

We know our industry is in the public eye as never before. One of the biggest challenges we face is sustainability. Uptrend2u™ continues to invest in new technologies, developing new products and getting actively involved in new market strategies to solidify our goals and intent.

We recognise there are many areas where we can target improvements on past performances; none of this will come easily and it will require collective action. In that context, I ask you to persevere and have faith that these improvements will happen. Together, we have the opportunity to take this changing world of ours and make it a better one.

Last but not least, a reminder to everyone: - All successful people, men and women, are big dreamers. They imagine what their future could be, ideal in every respect, and then they work every day toward their distant vision, that goal or purpose.
